Security Expert, Berkeley Varitronics CEO & President Scott Schober Weighs In on Cyber/Mobile Security! Podcast #2
Given that hacking hasn’t stopped and it’s highly unlikely that the various phishing and scams won’t disappear anytime soon, it would be smart to take some extra security precautions given the proliferation of mobile devices to the point we give them to kids to play with and we (meaning me) walk around with a bluetooth device stuck in our ears. Want to know why geo-tagging and geo-fencing works? That’s why.
We know how mobile devices simplify our lives but they also put us at great risk– in terms of personal and business security.
Lucky for you and me, I scored a major player in the security world, Scott Schober, CEO & President of Berkeley Varitronics who deals a lot in security matters– particularly mobile security.
This is a 2 part podcast: part #2 is today and yesterday was #1 I had no idea until I actually edited it.. that we had been on the phone for over 45 minutes. Wow. Scott provides a wealth of information and it’s easy enough to figure out in part #1 but part #2, it’s even more apparent. It’s questions about how mobile and computer security should be dealt with for home and for your business.
Scott N. Schober is the President and CEO of Berkeley Varitronics Systems, a 39-year-old provider of advanced wireless solutions for the telecommunications and security markets. Schober’s focus has been development of cell phone detection tools, used to enforce a ‘no cell phone policy’ in secure government facilities.
