Gina Made It Headbands are pretty unique, pretty much in demand, pretty colorful, pretty useful for all hair types — and just plain PRETTY!
Since graduating from Parsons The New School interior design program, Regina von Schack had the opportunity to work in many creative arenas with influential designers, event planners, TV personalities, and photographers. Gina’s — as she is called by family & friends– creative world is inspired by her New England school days at Bowdoin College, her travels abroad, and her love of the sea.
Her line of headbands started after years of creating decorative party headbands for birthday girls and brides-to-be. My younger sister, who at the time was a senior at Marymount School of NY, started wearing them to class and girlfriends began asking her where she
got her headband.
Mimi’s response: “Gina Made It!”
These bands come in an array of colors and unique presentations– like stripes, glitter fabrication and in every creative way possible. The KNOTical accessories can be worn on wrists as well as in the hair. Got to love that! Get more bang for your buck.. and please let her fabulous designs go to your head!!
Behind the Bands
Gina Made It, LLC is now in boutiques across the country and has expanded into other KNOTical accessories! All the products are proudly handcrafted in North Carolina at a worker-owned, eco-friendly factory.
The beautiful pictures on this site are the work of the talented Devlin Shand. Devlin has been with Gina Made It since the start. He is the creative genius behind the picture of “eyes in the bands.” This image has become iconic for my brand and I am so grateful to have Devlin as an instrumental part of the team.
PS. I did get 2 headbands to check out for writing this piece-=- but I would have written it anyway because the line is creative, fun, interesting and also made in the USA in an eco-friendly way! Products don’t sway my reviews or make it possible to get into this site– quality does!
