As I said in the post for project #1, I am not being compensated for this. I just happen to love the gracious sharing and family-time these DIY projects make. However in light of the FTC, here’s my comments.
While I don’t need to do any disclaimer since I am not being compensated for anything in this post or the others in this series, this is a TERRIFIC series of videos courtesy of VOLVO who want you to have a great holiday season. My compensation is hopefully hearing from any and all of you who do even one of these projects. I would love to see photos either on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or my blog.
Lingonberry Wreath
Project requires:
Lingonberry or boxwood,
Ribbon in your choice of color (or you could get a couple and either twist or braid it together!)
Wreath form (available at major art supply stores)
Small rubber bands
Floral Wire
Clippers (this is why an adult- preferably a parent- be present for this project.
Set up the branches on the wreath form as shown and tie them on.
Tie streams of ribbon to about 4-5 spots on the wreath form. The streams of the ribbon tails must be equal on all parts of the wreath which means you might have to try this a couple of times to get the hang of tying this correctly!
Make 4 (or 5 if you made 5 streamers) bows in the same color ribbon(s) and attach them to the same spots where the

Because I used to be around a slew of children of varying ages volunteering at elementary school as well as a teacher and also a parent (or step-parent)

actually not yet! Though I have thought about taking the time to do it. It’s the boughs and branches that will be drying out so fast here in LA weather that I don’t want to have something like that dropping needles all over that my dog would eat. but I love the concept and thinking about ways of adapting this (spraying the branches or faux branches different colors like gold and/or silver to keep them intact!
