The results of this infographic might be surprising or it might not be- in some cases. I was surprised that pilates was averaging the 35 year old demographic rather than a smidge younger. More interesting was those who do Yoga are in the approximately $75 K income bracket but over $100K, the involvement drops significantly!

If you are game to spend LE$$ on your workouts, you don’t have to have a class 2-3 times a week or a gym membership. You can do it via DVD and have a class once a week and do various workouts at home. Get your “group fix” by heading out your BFF’s or colleagues and walk briskly or do more stuff together indoors or outdoors.
Think about it! It doesn’t have to be expensive!

A nearby gym once quoted $3500 per year, plus trainer. My jaw planked. Of course, this is atypical pricing. Truth be told, a visit to the doctor and resulting lab test can easily match the price of several years membership at most gyms. So when we feel bad, perhaps we should exercise, especially if that’s likely to be what the doctor will order. 😉
I have an elliptical machine in my bedroom. I Do use it, it was to replace the costly gym membership that I didn’t! I think the trick is to have the kit somewhere very obvious!
