WHAT:
On Thursday, October 16, Tam O’Shanter will host a very special dining event featuring a four-course meal created by acclaimed Chef Mark Kalenderian with select pairings for each dish from the award-winning Charbay Artisan Distillery (Racer 5 and S Hop) and Bear Republic (Racer 5 IPA and Big Bear Black Stout).
Representatives from both companies will be on hand to talk about the history and craft.
Charbay
Based in Napa Valley, California, Charbay is an independent family business owned and managed by Miles and Susan Karakasevic. They work side by side with their son Marko and his wife Jenni to carry on the family’s European heritage of fermenting and distilling.
Bear Republic
Established in 1995 by the Norgrove family–third and fourth generation Sonoma County residents–Bear Republic Brewing Company offers world-class handcrafted ales that are wonderfully brewed and aged following time tested and proven methods.
