Ben Hsieh, a L.A. native and comedy enthusiast, is holding a stand-up comedy show benefiting Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), a non-profit that rescues and resettles North Korean refugees.
This event will is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4 at The World-Famous Comedy Store.
Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door.
21+ & two drink minimum
100% of the proceeds will go toward rescuing North Korean refugees.
The event will be held in the Main Room at The World Famous Comedy Store, 8433 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90069.
This comedy show will run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Performers include
the famous Bobby Lee (MAD TV, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle),
Chris D’elia (Whitney, Undateable),
and Paul Kim (Kollaboration, LiNK).
“North Korea’s oppressive regime concerns all of us and, in light of the recent Sony hacks, even call into question the security of our very own rights here in America,” Hsieh said. “When I had the opportunity to create a project that would make a difference in the community, I knew it would be this.”
Ben created the project while participating in a Landmark leadership program. Part of the coursework was to create a project that benefits the community. Landmark is an international training and development company (www.landmarkworldwide.com).
