Memorial Day Cocktails #7: Test These Cocktails + Impress Friends and Family!

This is Memorial Day Cocktails #7. If you go back for the last 10 days, you will find more posts. I love writing about cocktails. I have fun mixing them up. I am known to tweak a recipe and also for creating my own recipes.

These recipes are provided by the respective brands.

NOLET’S Silver Peach Lemonade Punch

Ingredients:
750 ml NOLET’S Silver Gin
2.25 L Lemonade
187 ml Elderflower Liqueur
2 Bags Frozen Peaches

Method:
Mix all ingredients in an infusion jar and stir.
Serve over ice in a highball glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Rosa is Red

Ingredients:
5 ounces Rosa Regale
1 ounce London Dry Gin
3/4 ounce Lemon Juice
3/4 ounce Lavender Simple Syrup*
1/2 ounce Blood Orange Juice
1 strawberry, sliced
Orange peel, to garnish

Method:
Combine Gin, lemon, blood orange and lavender simple syrup into shaking tin and fill half way with ice.
Shake for 3 seconds and strain into a wine glass with ice and top with sparkling rose.
Drop strawberries into glass and garnish with orange peel.

How to Make Lavender Simple Syrup:
Bring one cup water to a boil with 1 tablespoon lavender sprigs.
Add 1 cup of sugar and stir till dissolved.
Take off heat and let cool.
Strain out lavender and refrigerate up to one week.

NOLET’S Silver Sangria

Ingredients:
8 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
750 ml Dry White Wine (suggest something like Pinot Grigio or Fume Blanc. You want/need a fruity background in the wine and nothing overly sweet)
4 oz. White Grape Juice
4 oz. Sugar
4 oz. Sliced Seedless Grapes
1 Sliced Apple (Green or Red)
16 oz. Ginger Ale or Club Soda

Method:
Dissolve sugar in a pitcher with white wine, NOLET’S Silver, and grape juice.
Add grapes and apple slices and chill.
Add ice and top with ginger ale or club soda.
Serve over ice in a wine glass.
Garnish with grapes.
