Snapping pretty girls at the beach isn’t new. However finding world-renowned photogarpher, Antoine Verglas snapping killer shots of gorgeous model Eugenia Kuzmina who is internationally known for her face and physique which has appeared in so many spreads in magazines around the world. Marrying world-class photos with a cause is a great way to draw attention to Verglas’ documentary style photos, Kuzima’s beauty and because it was shot in St. Barts for a 2018 calendar, a portion of the proceeds will benefit hurricane relief.
International model Eugenia Kuzmina is the subject of a new 2018 calendar photographed by Antoine Verglas. The world-renowned fashion photographer shot Kuzmina on the Caribbean Island of St. Barts where the blonde beauty wears nothing more than a smile and plenty of sand, reminding us that humankind is one with the elements and nature.
“I wanted the calendar to reflect a human synergy with the earth and sea. We are a part of this world just as much as it is a part of us, therefore we must honor its beauty and offer our love and protection”, says Kuzmina.
A portion of the proceeds of calendar sales will benefit hurricane relief both in the U.S. and abroad.
Kuzmina, who has worked with some of the biggest designers in the fashion industry, chose to be photographed sans clothing as a sign of respect to the natural beauty of the environment.
“We knew that wearing bathing suits would create a fashion focus so we opted to go au naturale, with an emphasis on the human form and it’s natural balance with the surrounding environment”, explains Kuzmina.
Verglas adds, “It was a pleasure to once again work with the lovely Eugenia on an island that I cherish so much. Eugenia is a fantastic model and her generosity, beauty and kindness really show through in the photographs.”
