Now that New York Fashion Week is over, writer Vicky Layton has been busy tracking down streetwear trends which is particularly interesting since streetwear is one of the hottest categories in fashion these days for both men and women!

With summer being a distant memory by now, it’s time to think about the future: with fall just around the corner, many are the ones who are questioning themselves about which ones will be the biggest trends, in terms of fashion. With streetwear being the biggest trend within the fashion industry, let’s try and break down what are the best brands and how you could combine them to create the best outfit possible.

OFF-White has recently become a status quo within the fashion business for men’s streetwear but it’s also moving forward towards women’s fashion wear: Virgil Abloh, the man behind the brand who developed it from his previous one “Pyrex 23”, not only is the new creative director for a titan like Louis Vuitton but also has important collaborations with Nike for a Serena Williams-based gym line. With that being said, we can easily expect big things from Virgil’s brand in the near future, especially with his female-oriented pieces.

Once again, A Bathing Ape (also known as Bape) is usually related to men’s streetwear but, this year, they announced big releases for her, too. The Japanese brand is growing more and more every day, with new stores, new collaborations and more pieces dropping soon. Maybe, this fall, we will be able to see the famous WGM shark for her, too!

Bringing back Virgil Abloh again, we must clarify that he only focuses on the men’s side of the French brand. With that being said, we must acknowledge the fact that LV is definitely focusing on a bigger streetwear line for her, too (given the fact that the area is growing more and more every month), which is definitely something big, especially for a classic brand like this one.

This fall/winter season will definitely decide whether if the infamous Box Logo will keep on surviving in the streetwear area. Being the biggest and most famous streetwear piece for him and her, Supreme’s BOGO has been around for almost 4 years, with many different versions, ranging from the original one to the (well expensive) collaboration with Louis Vuitton. Supreme is one of those brands that are heavily focusing on their trademarks, which is exactly why they are so big within the hypebeast scene (yes, even the female-oriented one).

The Italian brand has definitely moved towards a flashier, expensive line of streetwear pieces, that definitely became popular for their simplicity and extravagance. For this F/W season, Gucci is back with their most copied hats, which are definitely the best fit for him and her.
