Wine brand Meiomi has launched a brand new sparkling wine to add to their portfolio of California wines. This sparkling wine is awesome and is affordable for your New Year’s Day celebrations!
This new sparkler was launched in early December in Los Angeles with actress, cookbook author and entertaining expert Ali Larter who hosted an exclusive, invite-only event at renowned Los Angeles eatery, Ysabel, to celebrate the release of the new Meiomi Sparkling Wine.
Larter toasted the new wine and share exclusively her holiday entertaining tips and a brand new recipe – Meiomi Sparkling Wine Fa-la-la Fondue – created to pair with Meiomi Sparkling Wine. International producer and DJ Nikki Pennie provided special music set and keep the crowd entertained throughout the evening
The new Meiomi Sparkling Wine is a North Coast sparkling wine made in the traditional French Méthode Champenoise and is the first sparkling in the Meiomi portfolio.
–Meiomi Sparkling Wine is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir that features aromas of green apple laced with hints of peach nectar, with flavors of crunchy pear, zesty citrus, and honey layered over a slight yeastiness and fresh minerality.
–The wine is a light straw color with a whisper of pink – paying tribute to Meiomi’s origins as a Pinot Noir house. Meiomi Sparkling Wine is available nationwide for $26.99 / 750 mL.

The entire Meiomi portfolio sounds divine and definitely worth tasting- but my first choice is always a sparkling wine or a rose’ and this brand has both. I would recommend buying at least 1 bottle of each (and preferably 2) because once you get the wine on your palette, you will fall in love with it. This way you have another bottle on hand!!
