Grammy Beauty: Celebrity MA Stacy Skinner Shares Beauty Breakdown for Grammy Winning Lauren Daigle!

Celebrity makeup artist Stacy Skinner created the lash look for Lauren Daigle on the red carpet for the 61st GRAMMY Awards using the Lashify at-home lash extension system. And as a two-time winner tonight—for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album (Look Up Child) and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (You Say)—Daigle is wearing two spectacular lash shades!


“Lauren is a little bit hippie at heart,” says makeup artist Stacy Skinner, “but she also loves a little glam.” Daigle’s detailed, bohemian dress from designer Lena Hoschek called for that perfect balance between funky and fancy, which Skinner highlighted with the Lashify Prismatic Colors Gossamers (clusters) in Royal Kim Blue “to pick up the blue details in Lauren’s dress,” and in Violet, “which look amazing with Lauren’s hair, and make the green in her eyes just pop,” says Skinner.

Skinner stacked Lashify Gossamers to create a wide-eyed look with an almond shape.
–She used 10mm, curled “C” Gossamers for the inner corners of Lauren’s eyes. Next she stacked 12mm, dramatic “B” Gossamers over 12mm, natural style “A” Prismatic Colors Gossamers in Royal Kim Blue.
–Moving outward, she continued stacking: 12mm “C” Gossamers over 14mm “B” Gossamers; 12mm “C” Gossamers over 12mm “A” Prismatic Colors Gossamers in Royal Kim Blue; 14mm “C” Gossamers over 12mm “A” Prismatic Colors Gossamers in Violet.
–She finished by stacking 14mm “C” Gossamers over 12mm “A” Prismatic Colors Gossamers in Violet at the outer corners of Lauren’s lids.
Just a little black mascara was applied to lower lashes.


“Lauren was over-the-moon about her lashes,” says Skinner. “She said, ‘this is my favorite shape.’ As a makeup artist, I love the control I have with Lashify. It’s like creating a couture eye.”
