In the mysterious quiet of the night where the world is brimming with possibility and contemplation, NightBlooming Jasmine flowers come to life – much like the Flowerbomb Midnight woman. Also known as “Queen of the Night”, she is an ephemeral flower native to the Caribbean that blooms fleetingly. Naturally reserved during the day, it is only during a few summer nights that the queen can be contemplated. Under the moonlight, she spreads out her pristine petals to release a powerful and bewitching fragrance, which marks the night with its imprint and arouses the senses. The warmer the summer nights, the more intense her scent. Dangerous, she becomes unapproachable and poisonous for the audacious that dare to get too close. An acclaimed cast of iconic Perfumers from International Flavors and Fragrances Inc. (IFF) brought Flowerbomb Midnight to life with their unique blend of artistry and talent, whilst paying tribute to Viktor&Rolf’s iconic fragrance footprint. Dominique Ropion, Domitille Michalon-Bertier, Carlos Benaïm, and Fanny Bal have seamlessly partnered – each bringing their robust individual style and olfactory expertise to this wonderfully complex, luxurious and mysterious scent – at once, making it collectively theirs.
A French Master Perfumer of a myriad of iconic scents, Dominique Ropion is renowned for both his technical skill and profound knowledge of French fragrance – revering the process of working with perfume as an olfactive form, like a sculptor or an architect. Ropion brings his affinity for creating with classic flowers, animal notes and Sandalwood.
Fanny Bal, young and successful Perfumer who learned with Dominique Ropion, joins this powerful team bringing her refined knowledge of the finest – and most rare – ingredients along with her rigorous experimentation and her olfactory signature to the feminine elegance.
Also bringing profound French perfume knowledge as Senior Perfumer, Domitille Michalon-Bertier presents a feminine sensibility to her successful portfolio bringing a deep chemist training to the process in addition
