Celebrity Hairstylist Dennis Stokely + Fashion Stylist Kiley Burk Comment on Coachella’s Hot Trends!

“Eye-Catching HAIRSTYLES & Trippy CLOTHES, Celebs Chill & Thrill at COACHELLA 2019”

by Contributing Editor DENNIS STOKELY with Kiley Burk, Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist

Hotter than the proverbial “Cat On A Hot-Tin Roof,” neon, neon, and more neon was in the mix in every form at Coachella 2019.
From neon strands of silk braided into hairstyles, neon separates barely covering the itty-bitty parts of the younger set and blinding neon strobe lighting at every night concert venue, to the slow burn of sexual undertones in every direction, NEON was the secret sauce at Coachella 2019.
I did not attend Coachella this year, so I was safe from all the temptations – sights, sounds and smells at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Of course, over 100,00 people from all over the world flocked to the desert venue outside of Palm Springs to soak in every sinful, spiritual and yes, style-inducing moment at the pimp daddy of all hipster music festivals!

In the instant world of social media, I reached out to Kiley Burk, celebrity wardrobe stylist !    (We had first started working together on AMERICAN IDOL with Paula Abdul). I asked Kiley to have a little fun with me and co-edit this piece. We felt as though we were in a space-age editorial fantasy.  She sent comments from Scottsdale, Arizona while celebrating Easter weekend with her family,  and me perched in Bluffton, South Carolina. It seems so  NOW,  particularly because as a contributing editor, I can collaborate with another stylist in a different part of the country, Googling photos in real-time, neither of us attending Coachella,– yet still giving our two-cents about the HAIR and CLOTHES!

Here we go!!!

STYLE STANDOUTS, Coachella 2019!!

It might have been Coachella, but Paris looked like she was ready for a fabulous club as she posed like a rock star.

“Paris looked hot as expected with her 90’s neon rock-star vibe and Barbie bod.  Blondes do have more fun.”

“Romee Strijd also trended on the 90’s neon inspired  style with her different spin of workout mixed with a twist of hip-hop. Showing off her Victoria’s Secret  Angel  physique, she looks amazing as usual.

Skewing a high-ponytail, a 3-strand braid, a sleek and flawless pull-back and shoulder-grazing length, this hairstyle packs all the feels for a couture version of the ultimate Ariana Grande fantasy look!

Leave it to a Swedish supermodel to give us this dream-come-true, effortless and oh-so natural, “I just rolled out of bed with my leftover curls from last night and used one blue-stoned bobby pin to keep my hair out of my eyes,” show-stopping hairstyle.

The Canadian model is awash in several shades of pal-pink, hot-pink and fuchsia. Certainly, the biggest trend in hair-coloring for Summer 2019 is hues from pastel blue to punk rock purple. Statement jewelry will take a backseat for a hot-minute with crayola-box hair dying taking over beaches and bars everywhere soon.

Editor’s Note – Favorite Hairstyles from Coachella attendees this year?

Both of these looks were ALL over Instagram and almost every one of them looked fresh and fabulous!
