She broke onto the US music scene with her 2000 smash hit single, “I Will Love Again.” The single hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play and peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100.


A career spanning three decades, Lara Fabian has become one of the best-selling artists in Belgium. During the 1980s, Fabian entered a number of European competitions and won several prizes. She released her first single, “L’Aziza est en pleurs” / “Il y avait” in 1986. In 1988, Fabian was invited to represent Luxembourg at the 33rd Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin, Ireland. The song, “Croire”, reached fourth place and became a hit in Europe, selling nearly 500,000 copies. She followed her success with her 1991 debut self-titled album which reached gold in 1993.





Lara Fabian’s breakthrough came with the release of her 1994 album Carpe Diem. The record reached triple platinum within a year and went on to receive two Félix awards at the 1995 ADISQ gala – Best Show Of The Year and Best Female Singer Of The Year. In 1999, Fabian made her first English record, Lara Fabian, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard ‘Heatseekers’ album chart, reached #1 on the French album chart and #2 on the Belgian album chart. “I Will Love Again”, her first English single, reached #1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play, and peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100.



Over the years, Lara Fabian has continued to release records and tour extensively around the world. In 2017, she released her English-language album Camouflage, which showed Fabian embarking on a new musical direction. The record contained 12 original tracks, written by Fabian, Moh Denebi and Sharon Vaughn, with new electro-pop production and classical orchestration. Soon after its release, Fabian embarked on The Camouflage World Tour, beginning in Miami on February 2, 2018.

With the feat of more than 20 million albums sold worldwide and an acclaimed return to Quebec during the last season of La Voix, Lara Fabian officially unveils today her latest French-language album. The album PAPILLON entirely designed by the artist, in Montreal, is directed by Moh Denebi, one of the most talented music producers of the new Swedish pop sound that dominates the American and European charts. Lara was also able to count on American singer-songwriter, Sharon Vaughn for co-writing the album. The musical complicity of the trio Fabian-Dennebi-Vaughn had already amazed us during the production of his latest English-language album Camouflage and international tour had led the artist to do concerts in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Miami, Paris, Prague, Amsterdam, and Brussels.

Born in Brussels, Lara spends the first five years of her life on the island of Sicily (Italy). In 1988, she represents Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Croire, coming in 4th. In 1990, she encounters the singer-songwriter, Rick Allison. Lara and Rick together write her very first self-titled album which has immediate success in Quebec, Canada. In 1994, her second album, titled Carpe Diem, goes triple platinum.

Five years later, Lara releases her first English album in the USA (Sony Music). The dance-pop song “I Am Who I Am”, remixed by Hex Hector becomes an underground club hit. The album goes on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide.

In August 2014, Lara releases the single Make Me Yours Tonight in Turkey, with a Turkish version titled Al Götür Beni. The song tops Turkish charts at number one and remains in the Top 10 for 19 straight weeks. In February 2015, Lara releases two “Best Of” albums, titled Essential and Selection, including new songs and later announces the release of her 11th French album titled Ma Vie Dans la Tienne.
