What started with hosting home parties selling of-the-moment fashions for women and juniors eight years ago, blossomed with success into a Mission Viejo storefront two years later. When the shop opened on November 1, 2013, it quickly became popular with Orange County fashionistas and various cast members of the “Real Housewives of Orange County”.
Jennifer Arnott named her retail business “CAllie Girl Boutique”, a hybrid of California to reflect the relaxed yet trendy fashions favored by local women, and Allie, a nickname for her daughter Alexandria.
Store Interior
Everything was business as usual until November 27 of last year when Jennifer suffered two brain aneurysms and three strokes during emergency brain surgery. Supported by a village providing help and love from her friends, family, employees, and customers, she is now back to work and recently celebrated a grand re-opening as she moved the store to a larger space within the same retail center, and launches a new e-commerce site, CAllieGirlOC.

Hundreds of customers, friends, community members, and city and chamber officials attended the party and ribbon cutting, toasting the new store as well as the owner’s life and health. Jennifer gave a quiet and humble speech thanking everyone for their support. She explained that as a resident of Mission Viejo since she was a teen, she is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support she’s received over the past year.
“It was challenging and I could not have done it without all of you,” she said through tears.
