At the 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday evening, celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak sent “Best Actress in a motion picture (musical or comedy) Nominee Ana de Armas down the red carpet in a modern, twisted low ponytail look created using Leonor Greyl products.

Mara Roszak Breaks Down the Hairstyle
Roszak started by putting a center part in de Armas’ towel-dried hair.
“She’s got really gorgeous, thick hair, and I added the Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice all over to give it texture,” Roszak says.
She applied a golf-ball-size amount of the mousse to de Armas’ roots and raked it through to the ends before rough-drying it with a blow-dryer and a paddle brush.
Next, using her fingers, Roszak created two 2-inch pin curls about 2 inches behind the Knives Out star’s hairline and sprayed them with the Leonor Greyl Voluforme styling spray to amplify the volume at the top of the hair. “The product is the perfect mid-process styling spray because it gives hair texture, but you can still work with it,” she adds.
From there, Roszak pulled de Armas’ hair back into a low ponytail at the nape of her neck, but instead of securing it with an elastic, she twisted the hair and used U-pins at the base to keep it in place. To seal the ends and give it polish and dimension, she used a small amount of the Leonor Greyl Éclat Naturel styling cream. “It’s truly such a favorite product of mine; I cannot do a hairstyle without it. It gave this look a sort of piecey-ness to the ends.”
A few spritzes of the Leonor Greyl Laque Souple hairspray finished the look.
