The SAG Awards Red Carpet Speaks “Valentine’s Day” to Many! Who Wore the Red + Pink Dresses!

The SAG Awards happens at relatively the same time every year. This year’s event showed off a lot of fashion trends including metallics, sequins, and color! This year it seems that pinks, red and pink/red combinations have turned up en masse! Here are some celebrities who wore those all those colored gowns! I scoured the web to get as much information as I could on each outfit.  The details of some celebrities were really easy to nail down (providing I googled enough) and others had very little.

· Lily Allen (with David Harbour) in Azzi & Osta
Lily Allen SAG Awards 2020 dress featured deep plunging neckline baring her cleavage and a-line ruffle skirt in contrasting red and pink colors!

· Cynthia ErivoSchiaparelli Haute Couture
Schiaparelli Haute Couture creation done in contrasting pink and red was an amazing creation on Cynthia Erivo’s 5’1″ frame. The dress was made of
taffeta and was “sculpted” and suspended to fit Erivo’s body type without overwhelming
-Jewelry: Robert Coin Jewelry  and  Maria Tash Earrings,
-Christian Louboutin ‘Cathy’ Rose Gold Platform Sandal

· Elisabeth Moss
Elisabeth Moss’s dress is romantic and beautiful. The pink/coral really suits her!

· Sophie Turner
Sophie Turner’s outfit was a head-turner. She wore a hot pink strapless Louis Vuitton gown with a sweetheart neckline, corseted bodice, and a belted waist. It’s impossible to forget the very sexy, thigh-high slit.  Sophie is all polished up for the red carpet like a real-life Barbie doll and that’s exactly what she is. I wish she had worn more jewelry and done something different with her hair or makeup to not look quite so much like a living, breathing Barbie doll.

· Kaitlyn Dever
Kaitlyn is wearing a  great halter dress in fuschia from Ralph Lauren’s Collection.  The dress looks great, except she has to pull up the skirt a bit to walk in it.
Her platform shoes (which really don’t work with this dress at all) are from Guiseppe Zanotti.   Her jewelry is from  Swarovski .. and while it’s sparse, she is still wearing great quality designs.

· Jennifer Garner
Garner was wearing a red  Dolce & Gabbana gown with a flared skirt, a fitted bodice, and thin straps. She looks like a modern-day Cinderella! The jewelry was from Harry Winston and included earrings, three rings and a vintage 1959 bracelet that on its own boasted more than 57 carats. (That’s some kind of jewelry!)

· Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is wearing a lovely red gown from Carolina Herrera’s Pre-Fall 2020 collection. The gown is made of tulle and it’s strapless.
To complement the strapless look, Anna is wearing a diamond tennis necklace in yellow gold!

· Danai Gurira
Danai Gurira (“Black Panther”_ is wearing a gorgeous  Thierry Mugler gown in a bold red/orange color. The deep scoop neckline definitely is an attention-getter while still being very simple. She set off the dress and the neckline with an incredible necklace from Bulgari featuring multi-colored gemstones! Her shoes are from  Christian Louboutin.

Love the range of styles and colors of these gowns. It makes you think about how you want to approach Valentine’s Day.
