I am a HUGE fan of Unique Markets. I have been to so many different Unique Market events- particularly Mother’s Day and pre-Xmas. Typically, it was held at the California Mart in downtown Los Angeles for a Saturday/Sunday sale and it spanned 2 penthouses at the top of the Mart. It was fun because you could have lunch there and see a slew of various brands and products from not only California but around the entire country. I met great designers of all types. I loved chatting with them about how they got started. The range of products included things for men and women as well as children. It was always a fun event… and I got to know the layout of the underground parking lot extremely well.
