What Good Is Summer without Music? Singer/Songwriters Jay Nash , Natalie Gelman Announce Upcoming Dates!

Both Jay Nash and Natalie Gelman have some upcoming dates for performances.  I am sharing the scoop for each singer/songwriter in case you can pencil them into your calendar. Each of them (though on different coasts) are really great musicians. I have featured both Jay Nash and Natalie Gelman  many many times on this blog.   I have been following and reviewing them for  close to 10 years.

Jay Nash

Here’s the email from Jay so that you can “hear” all the news from the man himself. He’s got a lot going on and his music is worth every effort you can to hear it.  I  didn’t see his email until about 5 PM so that meant that I had missed his musical performance that was live streaming today. (Smacking myself upside the head!)

In case you want to see a bit of Jay Nash before you decide if you are going to live-stream his event next Saturday, check out Jay who does such an amazing performance. He plays incredible acoustic music and his lyrics are exceptionally meaningful. Here’s the link to his Facebook page with the performance.  You do need to visit his Facebook page to see it.  He’s an incredibly gifted musician.

Here’s a video from Jay’s Youtube page so that you can hear him.

Notes from Jay Nash!

Hi! I hope that you’re staying safe & enjoying some semblance of sweet summer bliss. 2020 continues to keep us all on our toes, huh?

I’m playing the next two Saturdays (8.29 & 9.5) at 7 pm ET  (4 PM PT) both LIVE, in person & streaming on FB.
After a few weeks of tinkering with both my live sound system & solution for broadcasting live from a remote location, I think that we’re ready to do this!

If you are in the 1000 Islands in Northern NY neighborhood & have access to a boat, come see the concert in person!
Just head to the foot of Round Island on the mainland side & look for a gazebo…or just listen for the music. Please be respectful of social distancing & the owners on the island & maintain a distance of at least 100 ft from the shoreline.
I promise you’ll have no trouble hearing the music from there!

Both shows are FREE / ‘pay what you want’ I’ll be sharing proceeds with River Hospital in Alexandria Bay.

Natalie Gelman

Natalie Gelman had sent out a news blast on what’s going on with her and a couple of new music dates. I am sharing her email below with you so that you can think about checking out HER great music!

Quote from Natalie’s email:

It’s crazy to think that we are going on almost 6 months of this new normal right? I’ve been pretty amazed with how adaptable and resilient we are through so much. I have been trying to look for the silver lining since March and have to say that I don’t know if Zipper, my lovely cat, would still be here if I didn’t have the time to care for him right now. He’s only about 5 years old so if he can pull through we should have him for a good long time.

Online Concert Sunday for Patreon members

I miss playing online concerts while I’ve taken a step back this month to care for Zipper. I’m not yet ready to go back to a formal schedule, but I am playing one this Sunday (8/30) just for my Patreon backers! It’s going to be at my usual time, 1pm PST / 4pm EST. Join my Patreon and you’ll get the link to join us for the concert on Sunday. www.Patreon.com/NatalieGelman

In case you aren’t aware of Patreon or understand what is offers, here’s video from Natalie Gelman to tell you all about it!

Besides supporting my music you’ll be able to hear the newest song, How Are You Really?, and dozens more (songs) exclusive and early bonuses, behind-the-scenes songs and videos, and more fun goodies!

Here’s a video of Natalie Gelman singing Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth!”
(Yes, it’s a song from the late 60’s/early 70’s but it fits PERFECTLY for the current socio-political climate in the US these days)

That’s about it…Except for a nice review of my Livestream in Music Connection Magazine and this interview I had on SiriusXM’s The Lisa Show.
Now you’re all caught up with Natalie, except it would be an even better update if you hear Natalie tomorrow with the Patreon live stream!
