National Coffee Day is 9/29 and it’s right around the corner. While you could have the usual caffeine therapy, why not mix it up (literally) a bit to give it a bit more sizzle. What do I mean? Let’s mix up a cocktail that uses coffee as the base. The spirit of choice for this cocktail is Rhum Barbancourt 3 Star!
Haitian Coffee made with Rhum Barbancourt 3 Star(aged 4 years).
Considering how 2020 has been testing us for the past months, we can definitely say that we need this stronger boost to celebrate Coffee Day!
NOTE: We are not suggesting you roll out of bed and mix up a cocktail immediately. It is recommended that you would have an exceptional coffee-based cocktail for lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, or after-dinner cocktail.
The freshness and smoothness of Rhum Barbancourt 3 Star will enhance the coffee, while sharp spices cut through a soft, layered structure giving a pleasantly familiar heat.

Ingredients:
• 1 oz Rhum Barbancourt 3 Star, Aged 4 Years
• 1 oz coffee liqueur
• coffee (freshly brewed HOT coffee)
Method:
Pour Rhum Barbancourt 3 Star, coffee liqueur, and sugar into a mug.
Fill with coffee and stir gently.
Top with a bit of whipped cream;
Add sugar if you would like it a bit sweeter
About Rhum Barbancourt:
Rhum Barbancourt’s grand specificity comes from its use of pure sugar cane juice (no molasses), and It is probably one of the most “handcrafted” spirits on the market. All operations are completed by hand, from growing the sugar cane, cutting it, loading it on mules to reach the distillery. Fermentation and distillation processes are the same as they were 150 years ago.
This is a lovely, luxurious cocktail. I would suggest you have some really good coffee on hand when mixing up this coffee-based cocktail. Thanks to Rhum Barbancourt for this fabulous recipe! I can’t wait to try this!
