Mixing It Up with Ron Barcelo Rum! Great Cocktails for End of Summer!

As we are in the month of October, it’s time to get creative with cocktails. After all, here in LA, it’s still warm!
I love mixing up fun cocktails and Ron Barcelo Rum has an amazing array of cocktails that will appeal to just about anyone!

Rum is one of my favorite spirits. I always have liked it. It’s a very versatile spirit.

I just got my first bottle of Ron Barcelo Rum! It’s a dark rum with a great flavor that lingers on the palate. It’s absolutely heavenly. I can’t believe that this rum tastes so good and it has the right mouth feel as well as the best taste after you take a sip or 3.

Flavor Profile for Ron Barcelo Imperial Rum 

Bright copper-amber color.
Aromas of buttercream, dried cherries, intense vanilla, pineapple jam, and caramelized walnuts followed smoothly by a dry fruity lush medium body, full of depth and balance.
Ending on a note of carrot cake, kola nut, mocha, and a strong toasted flavor that slowly fades.

 

Disclosure: 
I was sent a bottle of Ron Barcelo Rum so that I could talk about the brand with some experience. I can’t tell you about how it tastes if I haven’t tried it.  I  received the Imperial which has a great lingering flavor. Even the bottle is beautiful.

 

 

Here are some new cocktails from Ron Barcelo Rum!

  1. IMPERIAL SUNSET:

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Ron Barcelo Imperial
  • 1 oz Grand Marnier
  • Passionfruit juice
  • Dash of Grenadine

Preparation :

  • Garnish rim with tajin
  • Pour all ingredients into shaker and shake well, pour into glass
  • Add a dash of grenadine (or cherry juice) for that red bottom look

 

 

  1. BARCELO’S QUARANTINI

Ingredients:

  • 5 oz Ron Barceló Dark Series
  • 1 oz Aloe Vera Juice
  • ½ oz fresh cucumber water
  • 4 slices muddled cucumber

Preparation:

  • Muddle cucumbers
  • Add all ingredients and shake well
  • Garnish with a cucumber slices or peel

 

 

  1. PISTACHIO’S NEST

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Ron Barceló Gran Añejo
  • ½ oz Chartreuse
  • ½ oz Pistachio syrup
  • ½ oz Lemon juice
  • 1 Egg white

 

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously
  • Strain into a champagne coupe
  • To create foam, use 2 egg whites and decorate with edible flowers (optional)

 

 

  1. CARAMBOLA’S TIKI

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Barcelo Gran Añejo
  • 1 oz Velvet Falernum
  • 1 oz lime juice

Preparation:

  • Combine all ingredients and stir or shake with ice.
