Health-Focused Habibi Founder Talks Post-Turkey Detox Tips
Wellness entrepreneur Shahada Karim (seen below), owner of health brands Habibi Sport and Habibi Bath & Body, knows a thing or two about overdoing it on Thanksgiving.

“Mix a few tablespoons with eight ounces of water and a teaspoon of maple syrup. Add a little lemon if you like and drink it down.” Karim warns to never take it straight. “It can actually damage your esophagus if you drink it straight, so definitely dilute it before you drink it.”
2. Collard Greens:
“I love any dark leafy green, but collards top the list.” Karim says they can help clear out some of the more harmful things you’ve eaten for the holidays. “The fiber in collards can actually absorb cholesterol before it makes its way to your bloodstream. How’s that for a superpower!”
3. Cilantro & Parsley:
Karim loves both of these savory leaves for their ability to boost liver and kidney function.
“I put cilantro in just about every dish. I love the way it tastes. The fact that it stimulates digestion and helps to balance blood sugar is just an added bonus. Same goes for parsley.”
