Dry January is HERE. We are in the midst of the opportunity to detox from an indulgent holiday season. While detoxing (and not drinking alcohol) doesn’t sound fun, it can be more flavorful and relaxing than you imagined.
This can be very much the truth if you are sipping hemp-infused cocktails. Wait!! I know you are thinking
“Is she crazy?”
I might be crazy, but when it comes to tasty beverages (note, I did not say cocktails), I am game to try just about anything. Here’s one of the hottest new mocktail products around.
The holidays are over and I am betting that your wallet could use a break but so could your liver! Weaning off the alcohol and working off the calorie increase can make this time more than helpful, healthful but it can help you cut out the sugar (and honestly.. I bet you ate a lot of cookies over this holiday season. I certainly did.. because I was baking them. However, I have been working on cutting my sugar intake down in a big way, eating a healthier and more plant-based diet too, along with going without alcohol for the month.
I know it’s not easy. It’s definitely not fun! BUT I am sharing with you a collection of mocktails that are tasty, also relaxing but are also alcohol-free!
After all, who said ditching the alcohol means having boring and blah sips?

Ingredients:
3-4 Muddled blackberries
6 pieces of mint, muddled
¼ ounce cinnamon simple syrup
½ ounce lemonade
¼ ounce lemon juice
Essentials Hemp Drops
Soda water
Garnish: Lemon wedge, blackberry, and Mint
Directions:
Add blackberries, 6 ripped pieces of mint, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
Muddle for 10-15 seconds.
Add cinnamon simple syrup, lemonade, and ice.
Shake for 30 seconds
Pour over ice and top with soda water.
Garnish with a lemon wedge, blackberry, mint leaf, and 0.25ml of Essentials Hemp Drops (7.5mg of CBD)
Hemp Hot Toddy
Cozy up to the Papa & Barkley twist on this winter favorite. You’ll feel the chill and your stresses melt away.
Ingredients:
7 oz. hot black tea
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 lemon wedge
Essentials Hemp Drops
Directions:
Pour honey, lemon juice, and spices into a large mug.
Top with hot tea, stir, then add a lemon wedge.
Garnish with 0.25ml of Essentials Hemp Drops (7.5mg of CBD).
