Super Bowl 44 is coming up fast now that the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have won their respective semi-finals! This game is going to be killer because this is Tom Brady’s first year at Tampa Bay!
The game is on Sunday, Feb. 7, on CBS and also can be streamed on CBS All Access, CBSSports.com, and the CBS Sports app.
–Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. EST.
–Veteran broadcaster Jim Nantz will be the play-by-play announcer, with Tony Romo serving as the color analyst.
–The anthem will be performed by country music star Eric Church and R&B star Jazmine Sullivan.
–Singer-songwriter H.E.R. will perform “America the Beautiful.” They follow on the heels of last year’s national anthem singer, Demi Lovato.
–Canadian pop star the Weeknd will headline this year’s halftime off the success of his hit 2020 album “After Hours,” led by the No. 1 single “Blinding Lights.”
While you can munch on all kinds of snacks like the traditional foods associated with the Super Bowl like chicken wings, guacamole, chili, along with pizza, submarine sandwiches, ribs, nachos among the favorites I have seen on a variety of list of key Super Bowl food to be served, cocktails should be something different in my book. It’s too easy to have a beer or shots of tequila or whiskey.

Expresso Martini
(This cocktail is my favorite!!)
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Vodka
1.5 oz Moonlight Expresso
1 oz Cold Brew
.75 oz Rich Simple Syrup (2:1)
Method:
Shake for 15 seconds, double strain,
dry shake for 15 seconds,
double strain into glass
Glassware: Nick & Nora
Garnish: 3 coffee beans
The JJ Curley
This is one cocktail that will really tantalize your tastebuds!
Ingredients:
2oz Hoover’s Whiskey
.25oz Gingercello Reserve
2 dash Angostura Bitters
Method:
Stir with ice, strain over a large ice cube
Glassware: Rocks
Garnish: Cherry, Orange Twist
