About that “change of life”..
Menopause can hit a woman at any time, but typically it’s after the age of 50. There can be precursor symptoms that might tip a woman off that she should talk to her gynecologist about her symptoms. Also, there are women who have to have a hysterectomy that can be partial or the entire reproductive system of the woman. There are options of how much of the reproductive system would be removed or not. The woman and her doctor discuss the options. As a person who had a hysterectomy that while devastating in some ways, the surgery prevented me from getting cancer– which was determined by testing the organs that were removed. The pathology report indicated that I was getting early signs of cancer. My life changed with that surgery. However, I did everything possible to reduce hot flashes and deal with the changes that normally occur — but mine were really early.
