Mixing It Up for National Cocktail Day (3/24) with Great Cocktail Recipes!

Tomorrow is National Cocktail Day (March 24) and while it’s not a traditional holiday, this is a special day to give you a break to stop and mix up a cocktail and enjoy the pleasure of that kind of break–particularly since we are still in a pandemic!


Avaline Sparkling Float

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 scoop of your favorite sorbet (raspberry + rose sorbet is the best!)
3-4 fluid ounces of Avaline Sparkling wine
A handful of fresh raspberries

Directions:
Fill your coupe glass with a scoop of your preferred sorbet.
Pour 3-4 ounces of Avaline Sparkling on top.
Sprinkle with fresh raspberries, and Voila!

 

 

High West Cobbler – Payroll Train

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

0.5 oz Double Rye

1.5 oz Mixed Berry-infused Oloroso

0.5 oz Amaro Ciociaro

0.5 oz Cinnamon syrup

0.5 oz Lemon Juice

0.25 oz Smith + Cross Traditional Jamaican Rum

METHOD:
Short shake,
Strain over crushed ice into cobbler glass,
Garnish with berries and mint


Mixed Berry-infused Oloroso
:
Fill a quart container with mixed berries (raspberries, cherries, blackberries),
Cover with oloroso and stir gently;
Allow to infuse for 72 hrs at room temperature,
Strain carefully,
Use within 2 weeks

 

 

VOLLEY Tequila Based Seltzer!

Volley is a new tequila-based seltzer made with just three ingredients:
–100% blue agave tequila,
–sparkling water,
–organic juice.

INGREDIENTS:
1 can of Zesty Lime Volley Tequila Seltzer

1 oz of Mezcal

½ oz fresh lime juice

¾ oz pineapple juice

5-6 slices of Green jalapeno.

If you like it extra spicy, add a few dashes of tabasco.

METHOD:
In a tin, muddle jalapenos with ½ oz of lime juice.
Add ¾ oz of Pineapple juice, 1 oz of Mezcal, and one can of Zesty Lime Volley.
Stir all ingredients,
Pour into a large glass over ice. Enjoy!

Now you have three distinctly different cocktails which you can try .. whether it’s just one cocktail or  a test-drive of each recipe!
