I have to be honest here as I start this specific piece. I am a skincare junkie. I am always searching what is often called the “HOLY GRAIL” product that will turn out to be a wonderous product that does what it promises. I have tried so many products and realized that initially the product was really good but within 6 weeks, the product tends to lose some of its effectiveness. WHY does that happen>? Mostly because your skin loved the product when it was brand new ..because it was brand new. When the skin adjusts to the product over time, the skin might not respond as well as it did when the product was first added to your regimen. As the positive outcome tends to diminish, the more you feel disappointed. Goodness knows how many times I have been through that. My devotion to the product is diminished and I end up passing the item on to a friend.

Real Life TEST DRIVE!
I was offered the opportunity to try a sample of the Avenoir Cell Repair Moisturizer and of course I said yes.
Typically I am not fond of moisturizers. I find that they are often similar and my feeling is that moisturizers drag too much on the skin,
take a while to be absorbed and often don’t moisturize enough or they moisturize too much and cause breakouts. This is a common

My Test of Avenoir Cell Repair Moisturizer
I started off being VERY skeptical of this moisturizer. I typically skipped moisturizers because too many times they either caused some acne or they were so thick that the moisturizer was dragging on my skin and not sinking in… and if it was absorbed, it was a residue on my face.
I tried Avenoir Cell Repair Moisturizer for 2.5 weeks and was surprised from day 1: the moisturizer actually was absorbed quickly into my skin. It didn’t drag. I didn’t have any problems applying sunscreen or foundation over it. I did notice after a few days, my skin seemed perkier. The moisturizer left my skin with nice color and my skin felt great.! I loved how the moisturizer wasn’t greasy on my face and it soaked into my hands when I was applying the moisturizer. My skin just looked better.
Being the eternal skeptic, I stopped using the moisturizer for about almost 4 weeks. I tried other products and brands and overall was ok.. nothing stellar; nothing amazing, but I did notice that my skin texture felt irregular and that I was occasionally breaking out (not a good sign).
I went back on the Moisturizer at week 6 because I had to stop using moisturizers completely. I used basic skincare products like cleansers, sunscreen, and a couple of very light serums (vitamin C). I noticed I had lost the perky, healthy-looking skin. My dark circles (due to allergies) were
darker!!
I started the Moisturizer again and noticed that the lotion felt silky on my fingers and it was absorbed very quickly. Over the next 3 weeks, my skin looked so much better. My skin had a bit more color and tone. My face didn’t feel like it was permanently in a scowl because the skin was so dry. The weather in Los Angeles has been up and down since 2021.. and it’s been difficult to have humid days, warm days, cold days with fog and humidity, and Santana Winds which dries your skin exceptionally fast–only this time, my skin didn’t feel parched. My dark circles weren’t so dark.
Bottom Line:
My skin LOVES this moisturizer. It’s absorbed remarkably quickly and it leaves my skin looking healthy and overall greatly improved. I don’t have to use a myriad of products to have “glowy skin”. I just need to use the moisturizer twice a day.
The funny part is that I only used the moisturizer on my face.. no other competing products.. my skin still looked great.
… Imagine what it would look like with both the serum and the toner added into the regimen.!!
