OMG, this one sounds killer. I am a fan of honeysuckle and adding in the orange zest and Neroli makes me swoon.. not to mention that the other notes in this scent make me think of traveling down Topanga Canyon to the beach and feeling the heat of the canyon as we drive towards Malibu!

SYNOPSIS:
Claude LeCoq published his first book, The Soft Lawn, in 1916 while still attending Princeton University. A controversial portrait of adolescent upper-class rebellion in New England, the coming-of-age story follows Hampton Perry, a charmingly snotty college tennis champ who, after years of having everything handed to him on a silver platter, finds himself handing it all back.
A little-known fact about the author: Claude LeCoq wore only seersucker suits, known in that era as the wardrobe of the poor, and it was his gallant presence at high society dinners and prestigious sporting events that brought the fabric into popularity among the affluent in the ’20s.
Stevie’s Note:
The Soft Lawn scent is great for men.. It’s clean, somewhat crisp and yet .. it warms up like the lawn does when the sun is beating down in the dog days of August. I love the idea of the vetiver, oakmoss mixing with the citrusy bite of grapefruit. The fresh tennis balls note would be lovely.
This particular scent has a collection of shaving products for the guys.. which I think is fabulous. HOWEVER, I also can see this on women who want a fresh scent that’s interesting and a bit captivating.
