Mardi Gras Returns to The Original Farmers Market With 32nd Annual Celebration
The Original Farmers Market is welcoming Mardi Gras back to 3rd & Fairfax with a 32nd annual celebration
filled with familiar sights, sounds, and tastes!

Entertainment:
Stop by the Market on Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27 for free live entertainment, including
the Zydeco Mudbugs,
Kenny Sara & The Sounds of New Orleans,
Crawdadio,
Torrence BRANNON & his Everything with Soul band.
Finish off this year’s celebration on Fat Tuesday, March 1 when the Nervis Bros 2.0 plays on the West Patio from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
Crafts:
For the kiddos, there will be shaker-making on Saturday and crown-making on Sunday to get them in the Mardi Gras spirit.
Eats and Treat:
The Gumbo Pot marks the return of their Beignet Tent on the Market Plaza from 12-4 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
The Gumbo Pot’s West Patio location will be serving their down-home Cajun cooking, including Jambalaya, Gumbo and Po Boys,
throughout the celebration.
EB’s Beer and Wine and Market Tavern will have plenty of New Orleans’ favorite brew, Abita Beer, for revelers 21 years and older.
