Hendricks Launched a New Gin: Neptunia! Try These Cocktails!
Guess what??!!
It’s time for an interesting cocktail that’s a bit more outside the box of what I usually feature. A lot of people think gin is boring, but I find it really interesting and I can be creative with gin. I have had some amazing cocktails at various bars at the Sunset Tower Hotel that were all gin-based. I find that gin is a bit neutral, but that means you have more flexibility to create your own cocktail with a unique collection of ingredients.
Hendrick’s Neptunia has launched!
Hendrick’s is a great brand of gin and they have some amazing cocktails. They recently released an evolution of gin. It’s a unique presentation that is about the flavors of the ocean.
Neptunia Gin is a new addition to the Hendricks family and I find the recipes I have seen and shared (both in this article but also in another article when Neptunia first launched
Infused with an uncannily refreshing blend of coastal botanicals, NEPTUNIA is inspired by the rugged and majestic sea that sits just two miles from Hendrick’s Gin distillery in Girvan, Scotland.
Created by master distiller Ms. Lesley Gracie’s Cabinet of Curiosities, this unconventional, intriguing expression uses a mysterious blend of refreshing Scottish coastal botanicals to create a crisp citrus finish that is as refreshing as Scotland’s ocean breeze. As ocean magic is exceedingly difficult to bottle, NEPTUNIA is a limited-release gin.
Residing in a classically-shaped Hendrick’s bottle with an eye-catching seafoam green label, NEPTUNIA is bottled at 43.4% ABV with a $39.99 SRP.
Hendrick’s Neptunia Gimlet
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Hendrick’s NEPTUNIA Gin
- 1 part Fresh Lime
- 1 part Simple Syrup
Method:
- Combine Hendrick’s NEPTUNIA Gin, Simple Syrup, and Fresh Lime.
- Garnish with cucumber.
Commodore’s Garden Punch

Ingredients:
- 2 parts Hendrick’s NEPTUNIA Gin
- 3 parts Coconut Water
- 1 part Lime Juice
- ½ part Elderflower cordial
- ½ part Blue Curaçao
- Pinch of Sea Salt
- Orange Bitters to taste
- Dill fronds & Edible Flowers to Garnish
Method:
- In a punchbowl over a large block of ice,
combine liquid ingredients and stir well. - Garnish with dill fronds & edible flowers.
Serve in punch cups.
Sea Cucumber

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts Hendrick’s NEPTUNIA Gin
- ¾ parts Fresh Lime Juice
- ¾ parts Fresh Cucumber Juice
- ¾ parts St Germain
- 3 Slices Fresh Cut English Cucumber & Mint Sprig to Garnish
Method:
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker<
Shake with ice. - Fine strain over ice in a rocks glass that has a Tajin rim.
