I am a sleep whore for whom more is more. I strive for nine hours a night, and it’s not unusual for me to get 12 hours on the weekends. I’m an extreme night owl, though (It’s 3:57 am as I type this parenthetical aside), so my sleeping hours often overlap with normal people’s waking hours. Luckily, I can sleep through almost anything: my puppy barking, my kids playing, my phone buzzing. But recently, any sunlight that sneaks into my bedroom has been waking me up.
