Spring is finally in the air, so I wanted to share the best vodka for mixing light and bright cocktails:Belvedere.
Made in one of Poland’s oldest distilleries, Belvedere’s bare-bones recipe of rye, fire, and purified water gives it an elegant, clean flavor that’s stood the test of time (and many palates).
Here is an array of recipes (with photos) that I thought really would be tasty cocktails for Easter, Mother’s Day and other “holidays”
that might come up.
BELVEDERE LEMON & BASIL 75
This cocktail recipe sounds amazing.. and very sophisticated!
Ingredients
1 oz Belvedere Lemon & Basil
½ oz Honey Water
¼ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1½ oz Champagne
½ oz Pressed Apple Juice
Lemon Wheel
Basil Leaf
Method:
Place all ingredients except the champagne in a cocktail shaker,
Shake over cubed ice.
Strain into a chilled coupe and top with champagne.
Float a garnish!
BLACKBERRY & LEMONGRASS SOUR
Ingredients
1 ½ oz Belvedere Blackberry & Lemongrass
¾ oz Dry Vermouth
2 Whole Fresh Blackberries
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¾ oz Egg White
¾ oz Honey Water
2 Fresh Blackberries
Sprig of Mint
Method:
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake.
Add cubed ice and shake again vigorously.
Fine strain into a chilled coupette.
Garnish. with a couple of blackberries and mint leaves!
Strawberry Ginger Limelight
This cocktail is a MOCKTAIL. It looks really delicious!
Ingredients
-
3 Strawberries
-
3 Mint Leaves
-
½ Part Fresh Lime Juice
-
1 Part Simple Syrup
-
3 Parts (1/2 bottle) Betty Buzz Ginger Beer
-
Fresh Sliced Strawberry and Mint
Method:
Muddle strawberries, mint, lime juice, and simple syrup in a shaker.
Pour entire shaker contents into a highball glass.
Fill with ice and top with Betty Buzz Ginger Beer.
Garnish with fresh sliced strawberry and mint.
Belvedere Cosmopolitan –
Ingredients:

1.5 oz Belvedere
-
1 oz Orange Liqueur
-
.75 oz Lime Juice
-
.75 oz cranberry juice
Method:
Add all ingredients to a shaker for 10 seconds.
Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass,
Garnish with a lime twist.
BELVEDERE AIR
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Belvedere Vodka
- .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- .5 oz Honey Water (2:1 Honey to Water)
- 2 oz Almond Milk
- Sprig of Mint
Method:
Place all ingredients into a shaker and shake hard with ice.
Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice,
Garnish with mint sprig.
BELVEDERE ICED LATTE
Stevie’s Note: I love the idea of this iced latte. It looks/sounds TERRIFIC!
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Belvedere Vodka
- 2 oz Your Choice of Milk
- 2 oz Cold Brew / Espresso
- .5 oz Natural Maple Syrup
- A Few Cubes of Ice
- A Pinch of Sea Salt (optional)
Method:
Add ingredients to a shaker.
Shake well and serve in a highball over ice.
