Happy Mothers’ Day to every mother out there. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Here’s one way to kick off the day really well: have one of these cocktails! Each one is a great cocktail and
the tequila brand is Milagro.. which is a really great tequila.
Milagro tequila blends very well into various cocktails.. and you can focus on this tequila to give you the smoothness and the balance of flavors and yet it has a bit of a bite! (We love it at my house!)
The Freshest Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 Parts Milagro Silver
- 3/4 Part Agave Nectar*
- 1 Part Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Lime Wheel
Method:
- Pour all ingredients into a Boston Shaker.
Add ice, shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. - Garnish with a lime wheel.
- *Or substitute with simple syrup.
The Paloma Select
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Parts Milagro Select Silver
- 1/2 Part Agave Nectar*
- 1 Part Pink Grapefruit Juice
- 1/2 Parts Fresh Lime Juice
- 3 Parts Sparkling Water
- 1 Pink Grapefruit Wedge
Method:
- Pour All Ingredients–except Sparkling Water–into A Boston Shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously and strain into a Highball glass with fresh ice.
- Top with sparkling water. Garnish with speared grapefruit wedge.
- *Or substitute with Simple Syrup
Pińita —–Created by West Coast Ambassador, Luis Lopez
Ingredients:
- 2 Parts Milagro Silver
- ½ part Pineapple juice
- ¼ part Agave nectar
- 1 part Lime juice
- Float 3 dashes of Angostura
Method:
- Add all ingredients (except angostura) into a shaker, add ice and shake for 5 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and float 3 dashes of bitters.
- Garnish with pineapple fronds.
Watermelon Margarita — Created by East Coast Ambassador, Manny Pena
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Milagro Silver
- 2 parts Watermelon juice
- 1 part Lime
- ½ part agave nectar
Method:
- Shake and strain over fresh ice into glass with a salted rim
- Add lime wheel, lime wedge, or watermelon triangle to garnish
