There are lots of reasons for you to mix up a cocktail– just one of them is National Tequila Day! Maybe you want to relax and enjoy the sunset. You might want to have something different.. a more unique presentation of a cocktail that adds something to the ambiance of your meal or provides you with a tasty beverage that will help you unwind from your day. Or you want to level up brunch with a sophisticated cocktail. MILAGRO TEQUILA is a great brand. Their tequilas are smooth and silky.. yet the flavor on the palette will have you slowing down how fast you drink your cocktail because the flavor profiles of each type of tequila is pretty amazing. Milagro is one of my favorite tequila brands.
The Paloma Select
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Parts Milagro Select Silver
- 1/2 Part Agave Nectar*
- 1 Part Pink Grapefruit Juice
- 1/2 Parts Fresh Lime Juice
- 3 Parts Sparkling Water
- 1 Pink Grapefruit Wedge
Method:
- Pour All Ingredients–except Sparkling Water–into A Boston Shaker with ice.
- Shake vigorously and strain into a Highball glass with fresh ice.
- Top with sparkling water. Garnish with speared grapefruit wedge.
- *Or substitute with Simple Syrup
Pińita —–Created by West Coast Ambassador, Luis Lopez
Ingredients:
- 2 Parts Milagro Silver
- ½ part Pineapple juice
- ¼ part Agave nectar
- 1 part Lime juice
- Float 3 dashes of Angostura
Method:
- Add all ingredients (except angostura) into a shaker, add ice and shake for 5 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice and float 3 dashes of bitters.
- Garnish with pineapple fronds.
Mayan Mule
Ingredients
2 Parts Milagro Reposado
½ Part Fresh Lime Juice
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
3 Parts Ginger Beer
Lime Wheel
Mint Sprig
Preparation:
Place 2-3 ice cubes in a Collins glass.
Add fresh squeezed lime juice, Milagro Reposado, ginger beer and bitters.
Garnish with mint sprig and a lime wheel.
Veracruzana
Ingredients
2 Parts Milagro Reposado
¾ Part Agave Nectar*
1 Part Fresh Lime Juice
4 Chunks Pineapple
2 Basil Leaves
Preparation:
Muddle pineapple and basil leaves in a Boston shaker.
Add remaining ingredients and shake vigorously with ice.
Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
Garnish with pineapple and basil.
*Or Substitute with Simple Syrup.
