Tasty Cocktails that Make Great Sips for New Years!

Here are some tasty sips that you can mix up for New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day

Elderflower Pomegranate French 75 Cocktail Recipe

Stevie’s comment: This looks like a very tasty cocktail.
The blend of the gin, elderflower syrup, and unsweetened pomegranate juice
will give the cocktail a lot of flavors.

 

 

This event-ready cocktail is festive enough for New Year’s—and delicious enough that you’ll want to serve it all year.

Ingredients:

1/2 oz. gin

3/4 oz. Monin elderflower syrup

3/4 oz. unsweetened pomegranate juice

1/4 oz. fresh lemon juice

2 oz. Cavicchioli 1928 prosecco (or champagne)

Fresh thyme and pomegranate arils, for garnish (optional)

Ice

Method:

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, elderflower syrup, pomegranate juice and lemon juice.

2. Add ice and shake for about 30 seconds, or until the outside of the cocktail shaker is frosty. Strain into a champagne glass.

3. Top with prosecco or champagne. Garnish cocktails with thyme and pomegranate arils.

4. Serve with Savory Fig and Brie Palmiers alongside holiday or autumnal cocktails like Pumpkin Spice Sangria.

 

Spiced Ginger & Whiskey Cocktail Recipe

Sweet and tangy ginger meets bourbon for a bit of bite in this Holiday-ready cocktail you’re sure to love.

Ingredients

Cocktail

2 oz. Bourbon

2 oz. Belvoir Spiced Ginger Punch

1/2 oz. hot honey ginger simple syrup

Sliced pear and cinnamon stick, for garnish

1–2 cocktail cherries

Hot Honey Ginger Simple Syrup

1/2 cup Mike’s Hot Honey

1/2 cup water

1 in. piece of ginger, thinly slice

Directions

1. Take a small saucepan on medium heat, add hot honey and water until the
honey is fully dissolved.

2. Add sliced ginger and change the heat to low for a few minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the simple syrup cool.
Transfer simple syrup, including the ginger, to a sealed jar,
Store in the refrigerator for 1–2 weeks.

3. In a cocktail shaker, add bourbon, spiced ginger punch, and simple syrup.
Add ice and shake.

4. Serve straight up or on the rocks, and garnish with sliced pear,
a cinnamon stick and cocktail cherries of your choosing.

Ingredients:

Method:
Start with a lowball glass and add ice, tequila, agave, Betty Buzz Sparkling Lemon Lime, and stir together. Garnish with a lime wheel.

 

HOT & SPICY PALOMA 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Bottle Betty Buzz Sparkling Grapefruit
  • 1.5 oz Tequila
  • Splash of Agave
  • A squeeze of Lime Juice
  • Tajin Seasoning

Method:

Rim lowball glass with tajin.
Fill halfway with ice.
Add lime and agave to shaker.
Shake well.
Strain into glass and top with Betty Buzz Sparkling Grapefruit.
Garnish with Grapefruit.

 

DEVIL’S MARGARITA 

Ingredients:

  • 1 ⅓ oz Volcán de mi Tierra Blanco
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ⅔ oz simple syrup
  • ⅔ oz fruity red wine

Method:

Pour tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup into a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into glass,
Slowly pour the red wine into the drink using a bar spoon.
