INSPIRATION:
We wanted the hair up so the dress could be the focal point of the look. Selena wanted a high voluminous
ponytail that really complemented the dress.

TIPS/TECHNIQUE:
–To achieve this look, I started by blow-drying the hair with the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Hair Dryer
while using the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Speed XL Hairbrush to create a sleek and smooth base.
–Next, I used the Rene Furterer Holding Gel and pulled her hair into a high ponytail, leaving out her front bang area and securing the initial
ponytail with a hair tie.
–I then moved on to styling the base of the ponytail by curling with the NEW! Olivia Garden Titanium + Ion 1.25” Curling Iron that allowed
me to create the perfect volume and waves for the look.
–Following, I secured the curls with the Rene Furterer Style Finishing Spray to stay in place during the show.
–Then, I brushed the bang area back into the ponytail with the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme 100% Boar Brush to make
the top of the ponytail seamless.
–I finished the updo by wrapping around another band to secure the entire look properly.
–Lastly, I sprayed the hair with the Rene Furterer Shine Mist for extra shine to last throughout the night.
