I am very sorry that I have not been around. My daughter and I were gone for a girls’ weekend together. Unfortunately, the weekend went sideways and then turned upside down.
Southern California is known for sunshine, and there was a lot of sunshine, but the temperatures over the weekend were astonishingly cold. So. California doesn’t get 32-degree weather when one is near the beach, but as we went to various stores, events, and restaurants, it was ridiculously cold.
The cold temperatures change how your body reacts .. and when it’s down at 32 degrees, it’s very different.
She was determined to show me that she was a better driver than me by driving her car… yet she got sick to her stomach during one of the days out, and I was the one who had to drive home. Fortunately, she recovered quickly.
Unfortunately, I got very sick, and I have not been well for the entire week. I have made an appointment with my MD to see what’s wrong because my symptoms are rather confusing.
I will work to get caught up, but it might be a bit slow.
