‘Maya-ritas’ and Live Mariachi Music

 

From festive foods to “Maya-ritas” aka Fuego margaritas, Fuego at  the Hotel Maya celebrates
 Cinco de Maya, the ever-popular Mexican holiday on Friday, May 5, from 3-11 p.m.

In addition, the Latin-infused waterfront Fuego restaurant is cooking up live entertainment from
5:30-8:30 p.m. featuring the Grammy-winning Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea, the official mariachi band
of Disneyland and a Fuego favorite. Cinco de Mayo guests can also shake things up with Fuego’s specialty cocktail
“Jardin del Dragón” is made with Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, watermelon liqueur,
and Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur.

“Fuego is the place to be to celebrate Cinco de Maya with festive fare, craft cocktails and mariachi music while enjoying the chill waterfront fiesta,” said Greg Guthrie, General Manager at Hotel Maya – a DoubleTree by Hilton.

 

Along with Fuego’s regular menu, a variety of tasty Cinco de Maya items are available including:

Fuego Guacamole with lobster-chipotle mango served with Fire Roasted Salsa and fresh tortilla chips.

–A Taco Cart serving street tacos with the choice of Cilantro Jalapeno Carne Asada, Tequila Lime Chicken,
and Citrus Mojo Carnitas served with cilantro, onions, pickled cabbage, tomato-arbol chili sauce, and
fired-roasted tomato sauce.

–Street Corner food includes Elotes Callejeros, which is roasted corn on the cob with mayo, Cotija cheese,
Tajin spices, and chili sauce.
–The specialty Cinco de Mayo treat are Fuego Churros with cinnamon sugar and cajeta caramel sauce.

Enjoy a refreshing, specially-priced famous Fuego Margarita of Reposado tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and agave nectar:
Also, try the specialty cocktails, including
the Spicy Paloma, a house-infused jalapeño Reposado tequila, grapefruit, and lime juice;

–and Estrella drafts on tap.
–A variety of Mexican beers are also available including Modelo Especial.

Fuego, the modern, Latin-infused indoor-outdoor restaurant, and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting
featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating on the patio area.
