SPRING 2023 & SUMMER 2023 TOUR
Thank you to all the wonderful hosts and fans and friends who came out and supported the 2023 Spring tour of the Pacific Northwest. I made it back home yesterday, and I’m leaving again to play the mid-western United States, next week, and I’ll be out, throughout July and August. I ALMOST DIED AND A VIRAL VIDEO(!!!)
I wish I could say I was exaggerating, but I almost hit a moose on the pass between Wyoming and Idaho. The host I was staying with told me that such collisions normally result in fatalities for both the moose and the driver. I missed the moose by about 1 feet to 2 feet by the conjoined efforts of my swerving and his/her INCREDIBLE dancing AND moose motion reflexes in the opposite direction of my car. Close call.
Strangely enough, in the days following that near-death collision, one of my tour videos went viral on Facebook. I was eating lunch in the parking lot of the Old Faithful Geyser (a salad) in the video and watching a Bison pass me by in Yellowstone National Park. Social media is weird like that. To be completely honest,
most of the attention on the video in the comments is quite negative. Whatever though. It has about 800,000 plays and I gained about 400 new followers to my music page from that video. Weird. All 400 of those people are probably expecting more Bison or wildlife videos.
Jokes on them if that’s the case. In my own defense to the vitriol of those video comments, I was 50 yards away from the Bison (park specifies 25 yards), and I was using a 3x zoom on my camera.

HOTEL CAFE SHOW & NEW SINGLE
I’m playing the Hotel Cafe second stage tomorrow (July 6th 2023) along with the incredible George Krikes from the band King Washington, Aaron Bowen from San Diego, and Jasper Lewis (a songwriter transplant from New York).
I put together the bill myself and everyone is well worth your attention. I’ll be playing as a duo with my buddy Tom Bremer joining me on lead guitar.
