Café Gratitude Teams Up With Celebrity Chef and Author Priyanka Naik for an Indian-Fusion Pop-Up Dinner Party on October 18th
As part of their ongoing pop-up dinner series, Café Gratitude invites guests to Venice for an enchanting evening with Celebrity Chef and Author Priyanka Naik on Wednesday, October 18, at 7:00 p.m.
Café Gratitude’s Executive Chef Dreux Ellis and Chef Priyanka have curated a four-course, entirely plant-based, Indian-fusion dinner that will be served al fresco on the restaurant’s warm and inviting outdoor patio accompanied by live acoustic music.
“I’m so excited to cook alongside Chef Dreux and the Café Gratitude team to bring my Indian-fusion menu to life! I want guests to feel immersed in my life with every bite of food they take,” said Chef and Author Priyanka Naik.
“This menu is not only a fusion of global flavors, but an eco-friendly menu – nearly every part of the produce is used across the menu. I want people to leave feeling like they have a widened perspective on vegan cooking and an increased curiosity with flavors from around the world.”
–with Bhutta Masala (Indian Esquites) made with chaat masala, spicy tomato chutney, herbed coconut cream, and herbed whole wheat cup, and
–Tostones Chaat made with crispy double-fried plantains, chickpeas, tamarind chutney, and mint-coriander chutney.
— For the main course, Tamarind Tofu Bánh Mì (recipe from The Modern Tiffin) made with a herby cucumber carrot slaw, sriracha mayo, and tamarind tofu on a toasted baguette.
–To finish the evening, the chefs have prepared a Mango Mousse Parfait for dessert made with rose and cardamom and topped with Gratitude superfood crumble.

In April 2021, Chef Dreux came to Venice, California, as Executive Chef of Café Gratitude in Southern California, bringing his health-based, flavor-driven cuisine to a broader audience.
