This the best day ever. So was yesterday, and so is tomorrow, and every day from now until forever.”—Barbie
This Halloween, you can look like BARBIE!
Here’s a beauty breakdown for you from
Choose joy this Halloween by channeling your inner Barbie. Here, makeup artist Gianpaolo Ceciliato used Fournier PR + Consulting’s adorable assistant, Andrea Carroll to illustrate how to embrace Barbie’s rose-colored worldview—and makeup look:
- Smooth and hydrate lips with BYROE Mojito Lip Mask.
- Prep and prime the skin with My Payot Concentré Eclat Glow Face Serum
- Brighten and depuff the under-eye area with Talika Eye Therapy Patches.
Gianpaolo prefers to flip the patches so the thin edges of the mask sit at the outer corners of the eye, enabling the inner corners (where blood pools and dark circles originate) to get a heftier dose of the treatment.
Gianpaolo also recommends leaving the patches on while you apply eyeshadow, liner, and mascara so the patches act as aprons for the area—catching any smudges or shadow sprinkles.
- Spray face with Payot My Payot Brume Eclat Refreshing Radiance Mist to seal moisture into the skin.
5. To create a glam, Barbie-pink eye look Gianpaolo recommends layering a range of rosy tones on the lids—and even using color-saturated blush for an extra-pink pop. To start, he traced and defined the eyelid creases with bright pink ADDICTION TOKYO The Blush in Fuschia Berry. Next, he tapped ADDICTION TOKYO The Eyeshadow Sparkle in Miss You More all over the lid.
Then he topped the bright pink creases with another layer of pink blush—this time, ADDICTION TOKYO the Blush in So Emotional. Finally, he used the Fuschia Berry Blush to line the lashes and accentuate the outer corners of the eyes—then swiped on three coats of Talika Lipocils Mascara.
- Gianpaolo removed the Talika Eye Therapy Patches and placed them back into their reusable case (the patches can be re-used up to three times).
- Then he squirted a little Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrae onto the tip of a cotton swab and gently erased any remaining shadow sprinkles on the skin.
- Moving to the rest of the face, Gianpaulo tapped ADDICTION TOKYO Glowstick in I Feel the Heat on the tops of the cheeks, the brow bone, the bridge of the nose, and the Cupid’s bow. Then he swiped his finger over the Fushcia Berry blush he used on the eyes and applied the color directly to the apples of the cheeks—then he blended with ADDICTION TOKYO Blush Brush 10.
- Finally, he used a small brush to layer ADDICTION TOKYO The Lipstick Extreme Shine in Wise With Age, a soft pink cream, to plump, smooth and play up the lips.
- With the look complete, Andrea (a.k.a. Barbie) surveyed her transformation in the RIKI LOVES RIKI Skinny Duo Mirror.
