Elysium’s Matter May Improve “Menopause Brain”!
By Marie Laure Fournier
Age-related shrinkage of the brain is a hallmark of the aging process that has been observed universally. Over the human lifespan, the whole brain atrophies by as much as 20% in healthy adults. This shrinkage is widespread and includes gray matter, which controls many of the “active” things you do every day: learning and memory, motor control, balance, and coordination. When your gray matter shrinks as part of normal aging, those functions can be significantly affected.
How to Slow Brain Shrinkage
To unlock the benefits of B vitamins for brain health, Elysium’s Matter (which is backed by a two-year, placebo-controlled human study conducted at the University of Oxford) contains a tri-vitamin complex that is clinically proven and patented to slow the brain volume loss that happens as we age. Matter combines the B-vitamin complex with an omega-3 lysine complex that has increased bioavailability relative to standard fish oils to increase people’s omega-3 levels so that the B-vitamin complex can work more efficiently.
Matter supports long-term brain health by:
- Slowing age-related brain atrophy associated with mild memory concerns
- Slowing age-related gray matter atrophy in regions important for learning and memory by an average of 86% over two years
- Including omega-3 fatty acids with enhanced bioavailability and antioxidants called anthocyanins to further support cognitive health
