This outfit is more than a bit off current styles. If the spring was upcoming, this outfit would be adorable. The colors work for Gwen, and the clothing works well for her.
HOWEVER, the polka dots are overwhelming Gwen. The shoes, tie, the jacket, and the skirt.. are overwhelming Gwen. The focus is on the dots and not on Gwen. The
color palette works only because of the size of the dots. The shoes are okay, but the jacket, tie. and the skirt are competing for attention. the cropped shirt focuses on
Gwen’s middle.. and it’s not flattering. She could have tweaked her makeup to bring the blue in as an eye shadow. Gwen’s makeup is rather basic and doesn’t command
attention. I have seen Stefani show up in more interesting outfits with low-key makeup or vice versa. This outfit is ok, but I would have liked to see Gwen dress it up.
