Black Friday, the Curvy Edition!
The phrase “Black Friday” usually conjures up images of lines of impatient shoppers waiting outside of Walmart at 2 AM and then trampling over each other to save $50 on a big-screen TV.
This year, though, Black Friday will be conjuring up curves! More than 10 premium plus size designers, as well as curated racks from notable LA stylists, designer accessories, bespoke jewelry, and small batch fragrances, will be hosting The Curve Collective’s Annual Shopping Experience, a thoughtfully and carefully curated trunk show experience featuring each brand’s most interesting pieces.
Taking place at Yamashiro Hollywood), a historic Los Angeles landmark, at 1999 N. Sycamore above Hollywood Blvd, on Saturday, November 18th, from 11AM until 7PM, shoppers will be treated to the creme-de-la-creme of the plus size fashion world, including but not limited to:
BAACAL by Cynthia Vincent
ByVinnik by Suzanne Vinnik
The Style Ethic by Kat Eves
Sante Grace by Tracy Christian
See Rose Go by Erin Cavanaugh
Cynthia Vincent of Bacaal says:
“I’m from Los Angeles and have always wanted to celebrate the entrepreneur. Before we all dive wallet-first into Black Friday,
I wanted to give our audience a chance to experience the quality of well-made clothing that’s available to them in their own backyard. Plus, it’s always been important to me to promote spending time with your family on the holiday and not just focusing on the consumer-spending agenda.
LA has an amazing group of women creatives, entrepreneurs, stylists, and designers who offer high-end curated collections
for the plus-size community. All of the vendors at The Curve Collective are small independent brands owned and run by women.”
Tickets are only $10 and may be purchased at :
