Toast to the Los Angeles US Open (June 15-18) with the Official Cocktail and Bottle of the Tournament

Toast to the Los Angeles US Open (June 15-18)
Dewar’s launches a new 19-Year-Old  Spirit

As the highly-anticipated US Open Golf Championship makes its way to Los Angeles from June 15-18th (Father’s Day weekend),
share ways that Angelenos can get a taste of the action, both with and without a ticket to the tournament itself.
Dewar’s has provided the information about the  US OPEN and some great cocktails from Dewar’s!

Queue the newly-launched Dewar’s 19-Year-Old, a bottle inspired by the terroir of the Los Angeles Country Club
(LACC)
where the 123rd annual US Open is set to take place. Aged in local Red Wine casks from the nearby Napa Valley, the
fine whisky offers an exceptional profile, with notes of red berries, black cherries, and a hint of nutmeg, and purchasing a bottle also supports the USGA Foundation.

For those looking to flex their bartending skills or create the perfect cocktail for US Open viewing parties, look to Dewar’s Lemon Wedge – the official cocktail of the US Open and a simple refresher to start summertime off right. Composed of the brand’s new
12-Year-Old whisky, fresh lemonade, and soda water, the cocktail is a modern twist on the classic highball and its name
serves as a playful double entendre – referencing both the garnish and the style of golf clubs used on the green.
The Dewar’s Lemon Wedge will also be available at all F&B stands at the US Open.

To save a trip to the store, Dewar’s Lemon Wedge will also be offered in the form of a cocktail kit from Cocktail Courier throughout the month of June. Inclusive of all the ingredients and garnishes needed to not only make the signature
drink but also dress it in golf-themed garnishes; the kit is a great gift for those who want a  convenient method of preparing
premium cocktails at any US Open viewing or celebration for DAD!!

Dewar’s has provided all of these photos along with the cocktail recipes!!

I don’t play golf.. … it was never my sport, but Dewar‘s latest 19-Year-Old championship bottle, inspired by the 123rd
US Open in Los Angeles, and/or the Lemon Wedge cocktail kit
sounds like something that should be in my cupboard of
spirits. The Lemon Wedge Cocktail Kit sounds very very interesting!
