Michaela Jedinak returns to give you some fashion advice. While the “Celebrity Style Slam” and ” Red Carpet Reviews” are great when celebrities are out and about, we don’t always get the assistance of a stylist to help us select the best styles for ourselves- nor do we have the time or $$ to go out and buy the things we need. Michaela to the rescue with her guidance on
“How to Wear Tea Dresses!”
They are flimsy and flirty but they can be tricky to wear. The clues here are
1) which colours work on you,
2) what size of patterns work on your shape
3)where on your body part you can wear them
4) what shape of dress works on you best.
The important issue is to keep it current and fun by making use of the trend-sensitive accessories: e.g., team the up with gladiator sandals or trainers,or bags with fringe or strong shape features. Try to wear them with trousers, or an amazing contrasting colour or a dramatic hair do.
Do stay away from being pretty and sweet by doing matchy-match accessories, cutie pie sweet hair style or ballerina shoes. Nothing kills a fashion trend ( or your own style) faster and deadlier than to repeat what has been done million times before.
So, before you can follow fashion you need to understand what works best for you, so that you can identify the fashion trends that work with you and not against you. Check out this chart shown below but here is the URL on the website here. http://www.joyofcolour.com/styleinformation/bodyshape.html
