Revolution! Party Brings Downtown Nightlife Up To The South Bronx on Friday, July 11th!

Revolution! is the new rock n roll dance party that brings a downtown vibe to the up and coming Mott Haven neighborhood of South Bronx…right on the doorstep of Manhattan.

Revolution! on July 11th is the official afterparty for Haven Arts Gallery’s Mad Hatters’ Review.
Mad Hatters Review (edgy & enlightened art, literature, & music in the Age of Dementia) will present an evening of poetry, fiction, music, moving artworks, videos and flash animation at Haven Arts (50 Bruckner Blvd) on July 11th from 6-10. $8 admission includes a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage, hors devours and performance. Start your evening at Haven from 6-10 and then get down at Revolution! from 10 on.
What’s going on at Revolution!?
Become part of the REVOLUTION! as they kick off a new series of parties in Mott Haven. Ttempting you with half-price beer, wine and well drinks from 10-12 and late night drink specials.
The adjoining restaurant will remain open until midnight ( We heard that the Thai chili home fries alone are worth the trip, and so is the Israeli salad. ) Too Faced Cosmetics will give away their glam cosmetics to the first 100 peeps in the door. New rehearsal space “SoBro Studios” (11 Bruckner Blvd) sponsors!!

Check out indie rock bands and DJs spinning 80s, indie, electro, rock n roll, pop, new wave and more. Bronx indie band “The Scene” will get you moving with a live performance at 11. Three Bronx-based DJs will make you dance from 11:30 on. Featured DJ Cindy Kim (Beat Pulse Invasion) has spun and hosted everywhere from HIRO Ballroom to Studio B, Lotus and more. Adam Underground (Bronx Underground) and Richie P guest DJ.
WHAT IS REVOLUTION?
The Revolution! party at Bruckner Bar, which has been a community gathering place for great food, drinks and its adjoining art gallery/performance space since it opened in 2003, will bring a new nightlife experience to Mott Haven; attracting those who already have their digs there, and those who want to be among the first to experience the area’s nightlife.
Revolution! is produced by a collective of Bronx native musicians and artists whose events have been profiled on numerous blogs, on going.com as an editor’s pick and more. This event & vision to mix “downtown nightlife” with Bronx authenticity will explode on to the scene on July 11th as the Revolution! party at Bruckner Bar (1 Bruckner Blvd on the corner of 3rd avenue – under the 3rd avenue bridge) in Mott Haven, The Bronx. The historic and revitalized neighborhood is home to a growing artist and musician community, and attracts visitors who are in the know about the galleries, artist’s lofts, restaurants, bars and more in the area. Let’s just say it’s the new flying under the radar location where hipsters are moving to– and finding it infinitely more accessible and affordable and still close to Manhatten.
