Nothing quite says Christmas like the Market decked out in Yuletide decor and the ringing of The Salvation Army’s silver bells with red kettles.
Visitors will enjoy an appearance by special guest, legendary Angeleno Danny Trejo of Trejo’s Tacos!
Trejo will join the celebration and treat the crowd to a Q & A session.

All activities will take place in the Market Plaza.
Starting at 6 p.m., the evening will feature cheerful entertainment from these wonderful performers:|
–Emmy-Award Winner Obba Babatunde,
–Broadway performer Shoshana Bean,
–Hallmark sweetheart Jen Lilley among others.
Family fun activities include a
–Mickey O’s holiday variety show,
–strolling carolers,

About The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign:
Each year, The Salvation Army’s Red Kettles raise more than $150 million across the country and the money collected helps the organization serve more than 20 million Americans from coast to coast. In Southern California, the red kettles will bring in more than $2 million and this year, the kettle has gone “hi-tech” with the introduction of NFC tags (Near Field Communication) on every kettle sign. If a donor comes upon a kettle and they aren’t carrying cash, all they have to do is “bump” their phone to the NFC tag and they will be automatically taken to a custom donation page where they can donate to The Salvation Army via Google Pay or Apple Pay depending on their device.
These funds are used year round by The Salvation Army for those in need in the Southland – it could be rental assistance, a box of food for the holidays, clothes, and even shelter. It’s the time of giving and The Salvation Army is one of the largest social service agencies in Southern California which has been serving those in need since 1887 without discrimination.
