Today, January 1 (2020!), is National Bloody Mary Day. This is a GREAT day to have a Bloody Mary considering last night was New Year’s Eve. If you are smart, you will extend this Bloody Mary sipping fest right into tomorrow which is January 2, the day after the holiday filled with college games. It will take the edge off of any losses your team(s) suffered.

 

 

Bloody Mary #1

Crystal Head Caesar

Ingredients:

2 oz. Crystal Head Vodka
5 oz. Clamato (Caesar) or tomato juice (Bloody Mary)
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of hot sauce
Tiny dash of liquid smoke
Garnish of your choice

Method:

Rub the rim of the glass with a lemon wedge and dip into salt, pepper and smoked paprika mix.
In a shaker half-filled with ice, add all ingredients and shake well.
Strain into the pre-rimmed glass filled with ice.

 

Bloody Mary #2

Busha Browne Wasabi Bloody Mary Cocktail

Ingredients:

4 1/2 teaspoons of wasabi
6 cups of tomato juice
1/2 lime juice
3oz vodka
3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce

Ice cubes
Limes for garnish
Chile rimmer (mix 1 tablespoon of each: salt, sugar and ancho chile powder in a small dish)

Preparation:
Combine lime juice and wasabi with a whisk, until wasabi dissolves.

Combine ingredients in an ice-filled Collins Glass.
Stir to mix flavors.
Garnish with a ridiculous garnish, the bigger, the better.

Beety Bloody Mary

 

Ingredients:

4 oz. Beetology Beet + Veggie
1/2 tsp. grated horseradish
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1 dash hot sauce (more if you want it extra spicy!)

lvov-vodka

2 oz. LVOV Vodka ( Find this vodka at Total Wines & More)
Celery stalks for garnish

Directions

In a tall glass, add Beetology, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce,
Stir to combine.
Add ice to fill the glass, LVOV vodka and stir.
Garnish with a celery stalk.

Ingredients

.75oz Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin
.75oz Campari
.75oz Dry Curacao
.75oz fresh lemon juice
1 dash of Regan’s Orange Bitters Lemon twist for garnish

Method
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
Shake and strain into a chilled coupette glass
Garnish with a lemon twist.

PREPARATION
