L'Oreal Paris and Carelle 2009 Red Carpet Golden Globes Compact Hits EBAY Charity Auction!!

In honor of the 2009 awards season, L’Oréal Paris continues honoring Hollywood’s most talented women in film and television with a unique collection of “good luck charms”: mirrored compacts imbedded with bold, colorful gemstones chosen for their special meanings and powers.
Designed by Carelle, a fine jewelry company, the 2009 Red Carpet Golden Globes Compact will be presented to top female nominees in the Best Actress Drama and Best Actress Comedy categories.

The L’Oréal Paris 2009 Golden Globes Compact Designed by Carelle provides the stars with an “antidote” to the exciting and often hectic energy surrounding the award season and festival circuit. The compact’s stones were chosen based on their unique properties such as balance, strength and confidence–the honorees that carry the compact are sure to have a secret weapon for success in their customized good luck charm.
Designed by Carelle, the “Harmony ” Compact is a shimmering combination of lemon citrine and pale green quartz stones set in 18K yellow gold with diamond details in honor of the Golden Globes. The compact evokes a calming, balanced aura with yellow citrines that symbolize optimism, positive energy and enhanced creativity. The yellow is a perfect compliment to green as it represents harmony and “attracts success.”
This stunning compact is not just for the stars–one limited edition compact will be listed for sale through eBay Giving Works, eBay’s dedicated program for charity listings, with all funds generated benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). The compact, valued at $3650, will be auctioned on www.ebay.com/lorealparis following the award show, from January 11 through January 18, with an opening bid of $500.
